common in the Yukon).
Other notable
comments and clues:
- Sometimes referred to as
the common sucker.
- The most distinguishing feature of the juvenile
white sucker, like the longnose sucker, is its ventral protrusible
mouth that opens downwards.
- The head is almost square shaped, unlike the longnose
sucker, which is more pointed.
- Take note of the distribution as the white
sucker is less commonly found.
